Welcome! I am so glad you are here. My name is Kelly Wells and I am a Life, Relationship, and Trauma Recovery Coach.
For the past 18 years I have had the privilege and honor of working in, and for, the military community. My service began in 2002 when I enlisted in the United States Army as a combat medic. During my 4-year active duty enlistment, I served in Operation ARFOR-T and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Upon returning home, I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Toledo. I continued my service as a military spouse, a Family Advocacy Program Assistant, an Army Substance Abuse Program Prevention Coordinator, and a REBOOT Combat Recovery Course Leader to name a few. With each role I gained a deeper understanding of the Military and Veteran experience.
Coaching is my life's passion. I have studied personal growth and development my entire life, and over the past few years have had the honor of increasing my education and expertise in the field of trauma. I created Start Point Coaching, Inc to share that passion and knowledge with you. Wherever you are in life, together we can create a new "Start Point" towards living your best life yet!

Kelly Wells enlisted in the US Army in Feb 2002 as a combat medic. Upon graduation from training Kelly was stationed in Germany. During her 4 year enlistment there she was deployed twice, in support of Operation Arfor-T and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Following her military service Kelly moved to Ohio and became a Registered Nurse. She continued on in positions supporting the military and veteran community.
While working for the Army Substance Abuse Program Kelly noticed some missing support elements for military and veteran families. Namely, trauma education. It was out of this observation that Start Point Coaching was envisioned. With the support of friends and family, Start Point Coaching, Inc was formed in late 2019.
